Be sure to monitor PCE FLEXmarket Remaining Incentive Funds on the Demand FLEXmarket Website, last updated May 23, 2024. Hello Aggregator Partners,
We are pleased to announce that the BayREN Business FLEXmarket will reopen in June. This past week, the BayREN team finalized the rules for reopening their Business FLEXmarket. With the exact re-open date to be announced in the next few weeks, we can now communicate the major rule changes pertinent to your participation. Enrollment Process: Two major deviations from other markets will be strictly enforced. If they are not followed, your projects will be rejected from the program.
Hard-to-Reach Only: BayREN Business FLEXmarket will solely focus on Hard-to-Reach (HTR) customers. Hard-to-Reach qualifications will remain the same. Target Audience: The definition of what qualifies as a Small Business will be narrowed down to: “non-residential, non-government buildings, facilities, sites, places, and spaces occupied by organizations and entities whose purposes are to engage in professional and commercial activities. The Program does not accept home-offices, agricultural, aviation, industrial, mining, sanitation, stand-alone parking (lots and garages), and storage facilities, and multifamily common areas.” Incentive Payments: The incentive multiplier for HTR projects will be lowered to 3.5x for the remainder of the year. Roles and Responsibilities: Recurve is not responsible for the interpretation of program rules. Aside from data-based eligibility criteria, Recurve will not be responsible for determining the eligibility of a project, goodness of fit with respect to the program rules, and/or BayREN’s goals. Recurve will provide the necessary tools and data for BayREN to determine project eligibility. We look forward to providing you with an exact date of the program re-opening in the coming weeks. |
