This dashboard is a view into the 8760 (every hour of the year) value of energy efficiency based on the California Avoided Cost Calculator (more on this in the Marketplace Manual), and is the basis for your project value. 

Aggregator payments by the delta between implementation costs, and project value, which is driven by the value and price signal described in this dashboard.

There is a lot you can do to increase the value of your projects.  First, you can save more kWh, which is often a function of customers that use a lot of energy, for example. But, as importantly, you can also focus on strategies and customers that provide savings that are more aligned with the time periods that are valuable to the grid and GHGs.

​The Flexibility Value Explorer is designed so you can understand when the most (and least) valuable periods are. 

With this tool you can explore the seasonal load shape values (pay particular attention to the scales on each chart btw, there are major differences between summer and winter if you look close!). You can also download these values as a CSV so you can do your own analysis to estimate the load shape values you expect from your projects. One important note is that in this market, the deemed load shape value is the floor, so anything you do to beat that average assumption will result in increased project value and aggregator payments.
