What is SCP's Commercial Efficiency Market?
Sonoma Clean Power’s FLEXmarket is a pay-for-performance program that pays incentives based on the metered grid value of energy efficiency and demand response projects. FLEXmarket's hourly framework promotes peak period reductions by offering higher incentives for peak hour savings and projects that provide sustained energy efficiency over time.

Benefits:
  • Measure agnostic. You determine which products to install and how much energy they will save, and we'll estimate your incentive at project enrollment.
  • Lucrative incentives. Because payments are based on actual savings, you can earn $1,000s more than traditional rebate programs.
  • Project Incentive Multipliers:
    • Electrification: 1x Electric, 2x Gas
    • Energy Efficiency Projects: 2x Electric
  • Upfront Payment. 20% of your forecasted incentive is paid upfront for projects installed.
  • Expanded customer base. Use incentive dollars to make competitive offers to customers.
  • Seamless project submissions. Projects are easy to submit and require minimal paperwork from you and the customer (no RFPs).
  • White-glove support. SCP and Recurve provides participating aggregators with co-branded marketing guidance, customer talking points, and resources on available customer and aggregator financing.
**Disclaimer - At this time, electricity only projects are eligible. The program is working to integrate gas usage data for our customers. Aggregators will be notified when this is completed.
