What is MCE Commercial Efficiency Market?
MCE Commercial Efficiency Market offers an innovative and flexible approach to energy efficiency by working directly with energy solution providers to procure cost-effective energy efficiency and demand response.

The MCE Commercial Efficiency Market is a normalized metered energy consumption (NMEC) program that pays a variable rate to incentivize savings during peak periods. Aggregators can develop their own offerings and targeted solutions to maximize grid and customer benefits.

Benefits:
  • *Upfront payment. 20% of forecasted Total System Benefit paid upfront.*
  • Measure agnostic. You decide what to install and how much energy it'll save, and we'll estimate your incentive at enrollment.
  • Lucrative incentives. Because payments are based on actual savings, you can earn $1,000s more than traditional rebate programs.
  • Expanded customer base. Incentive dollars enable competitive offers to customers across the Marin, Solano, and Contra Costa Counties.
  • Seamless project submissions. Projects are easy to submit and require minimal paperwork from you and the customer (no RFPs).
  • White-glove support. MCE and Recurve provides participating aggregators with co-branded marketing guidance, customer talking points, and resources on available customer and aggregator financing.
*Up to $40,000.
